Warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Good variety of beer made on premises. Food compliments the beer very well and both a great value.
Very interesting layout. You can look down to see the brewery. The upstairs is a restaurant. Very small menu, but very good food. They also cater to vegetarians.
Competent if not inspiring beers. Nicely done interior. Tasty food. Worth having lunch here.
Good things are happening on Front Street in Port J. and the just opened Fox n Hare is definitely part of the action. This is a great place to hang out with friends or go to on a date. Situated in a renovated brick building with a completely open front thanks to the overhead garage doors, this brew pub has great ambiance. Besides serving up their own brews there is a well conceived menu of reimagined pub favorite foods.
Pretzels with the cheese- awesomeness. German style heffy and darker pastures were what I tried and liked them both. Pleasant staff and very nice inside.
