I like Roy and when he is cooking he deserves 4.5 stars. That's just the problem though, he is never behind the line and his wait staff are rude, forgetful and absent minded to be polite. The huge menu and giant portions are worth the time spend even with terrible staff. The consistency is the issue and charging for coffee by the cup has me and my parties choosing other locations for breakfast and lunch.
Good is always amazing, large portions and great prices. The pastries are awesome... there isn't anything negative about Roys only positive, u must see for yourself to believe !!!
I heard about this place from a friend. I wanted to try it for a long time. I got the chance a month ago. I went inside and was greeted by waitress. I was given a menu I found what I wanted to eat. I told the waitress my food was ready in my hands less then ten min. I found the place to be clean, friendly staff. I will be back,great burger and fries.
Pizza and calzones are best around! And they will make it however way you want. They have great hotdogs with a HUGE selection and almost all of them are only A DOLLAR! They have an awesome menu with some really creative sandwiches that are massive and so much fun to eat at an extremely affordable price. It's fun ordering from Roys! They are constantly coming up with new yummy ideas.
The food is excellent, portions are large and the prices are reasonable. I have never left Roy's without a doggie bag. The service is excellent with the exception of tonight. We actually had to make a complaint to the owner because the waitress who appeared to be new, was atrocious and inept. Roy's wife took over and the rest of the dinner went smoothly. Besides being an excellent waitress, she makes the best deserts. When she opens her bakery, I would highly recommend it. I live about 25 miles away from Port Jervis, but I will gladly drive here whenever I need an impressive desert.
